Association of Professional Directors IDA - is the largest Russian directors Institute founded in 2002.
Our mission - is to create a professional community of directors and top-managers using best corporate governance practices for sustainable development of companies and society.
Our activity is based on the principles of Integrity and Professionalism. Everyone joining the IDA signs the Charter - a set of ethical and professional standards for director’s activities.
We manage exclusive education and certification programs for directors; create open platforms for communication and networking; assist directors in their career development and in opening up new business opportunities.
The IDA includes more than 1200 directors and executives of public, private and state-owned companies.
Strategic international partner of the Association is IoD UK - an oldest Directors` Institute. Together with IoD, the Association runs IoD Chartered Director in Russia. Since 2008, there are more than 500 graduates of this program.
Since 2012, the IDA conducts qualification course “Independent Director” - an introductory course on good corporate governance and effective Boards performance.
The alumni club operates on a regular basis. This is a platform for exchanging experience and networking.
For over 10 years, IDA, together with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the international company PwC, the Moscow Exchange and Sberbank, annually holds the All-Russian Corporate Governance Forum and the Director Of The Year National Award.
