Read the conditions for joining the Association in the sections: Who can become an Association member; Membership fees.

Complete the Membership Application Form.
Completed applications are to be sent by mail, fax or email (to esamsonova@nand.ru) to the membership manager. Attach a regular or digital photograph of the candidate, and a copy of the candidate’s resume.

Provide letters of recommendation.
A candidate applying for the status of ‘Director’ must provide two letters of recommendation.
Letters of recommendation are not required for candidates applying for ‘Expert’ status.

Attend an interview with representatives of the Membership and Ethics Committee.
The decision to grant membership is taken at a session of the Membership and Ethics Committee. Sessions are held each quarter: in March, June, September and December. A preliminary interview is held with every candidate for membership in the Association.

You will receive confirmation of membership in the Association, indicating your status as ‘Director’ or ‘Expert’.
New members are issued with a membership card, indicating the date on which they joined the Independent Directors Association.

Pay the initial membership fee.
The day on which the membership fees are paid is counted as the official date of joining the Independent Directors Association.
Payment of the initial membership fee and annual membership fees is to be effected:
- at any branch of Sberbank (or any other bank), using the form provided by the Association;
- by credit card (in person or by filling out an authorization form);
- using an invoice, addressed to a legal entity.
