Membership Advantages and DutiesThe Association brings together independent directors currently active in Russian and foreign companies, as well as corporate directors and experts with an interest in becoming independent directors in Russian companies.
Association members receive organizational and information support for their professional activities:
- Greater opportunities to be proposed and selected to sit on the boards of Russian companies;
- Enhanced level of professional knowledge and skills in the field of corporate management, via the qualification enhancement program, run by IDA’s Corporate Directors Institute;
- The opportunity to meet colleagues from the boards of other companies at conferences (partner events) and round-table meetings of the Directors Club, organized by the Association;
- The right of access to data on our Internet server, extended exclusively to members of the Association: information about cutting-edge practices in the work of independent directors;
- The opportunity to create your own page and mailbox on the Association’s Internet server;
- Discounts on all qualification enhancement courses and study materials produced by the Association;
- Receipt of the quarterly periodical Independent Director and other publications produced by the Association;
- The right to participate in the general meeting of Association members.
IDA Membership Duties:
- Members of the Association must vote on key issues of the development of the Association when meetings are held, either in person or by absentee vote.
- Members of the Association inform the Association about all relevant changes to their professional activities (place of work, position, and contact data).
- Members of the Association pay membership fees within the first quarter of each year, for that year.
- Non-payment of membership fees by the end of the year automatically raises the issue of exclusion of members from the Association.
