Director of the year

Every year IDA holds the ceremony of the National award “Director of the year”.

This award was found by IDA with the support of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2006.


The National award “Director of the year”:

  • marks personal contribution of directors to the development of corporate governance of the company
  • promotes implementation of best standards of corporate governance and Councils of directors practices in Russian Federation.

Within the bounds of the National award “Director of the year” there are three nominations:


Independent director of the year

Chairman of the Board of directors: contribution to the development of corporate governance

Corporate secretary of the year/ Head of the Executive office of Board of Directors.


For every nomination there are assessment criteria. Nomination is effected by professional community. Self-nomination is also possible.
